Jink's eyesight is better, or it might be that he's getting more accustomed to partial sight. His left eye is pretty bad but he's getting partial vision out of his right.
This has led me on a search for "blind dogs" on the net; and to "Living with Blind Dogs"

Then there's "Help Your Dog Fight Cancer" I'll give you a review after I've read it....

First Tracks

Sometimes I feel I'm living with the Discovery Channel outside my window. These are deer tracks. If you want to learn more about tracks and scat try Acorn Naturalists.

Firsttracks means something totally different around here. The big news is the World Cup has been postponed- because of too much snow! That is a wonderful thing. Don't misunderstand- the Super G is a ton of fun- but 14" of wet fluffy snow? Now *that's* good stuff.

Barking is better...

Jinks must be feeling better because he's feeling fiesty. Here he's decided to be a "Puli Punisher" That's BB and BB just puts Jinks' panties in a twist. I've seen them snuggle side by side and cuddle but if bossy little BB tries to go through the door first, or gets too close to Jinks' food bowl, or tries to be top puppy in any way- whammoo- Puli Punisher.
He woke up barky this morning and he's staying that way (although it's quiet right now, probably just a post lunch snooze).
You will notice that Jinks is out front now. I don't know if his eyesight is better or not but his attitude of being in the lead is certainly back.

Puli Rorschach

I always thought Pulik made the best Rorschach inkblots.
They love to start early and they'd keep this up all day and all night if they could. I'm very thankful they have each other because that's a level of energy which is just beyond comprehension.

One day at a time.

The good news is Jinks' blood work is all in normal range. The better news is he's still there in the mornings to bark in my face and tell me to get out of bed.
However, I think the care taking roll is taking a little bit out of Gingin- she crashed last night for a well deserved snooze.
