We had a little snow this morning.
Ginny promptly gave it a test roll.
It's nice light fluffy powder- about 12".
For the walk up the drive she decided that following in the plow's tracks was easiest.

Goodbye my Captain
Jinks is gone
He started bleeding internally yesterday and it was only a matter of time. He would have bursts of energy and then become very fatigued. Here's a picture of his "puffy lips" this morning growling at the Pulis over breakfast treats.
The Vet came over to the house this morning and gave him two shots. He fell asleep snoring loudly, then he was gone. Ginny tried to follow the Vets car out the drive- actually she tried to jump in the Vets car and go with them. She didn't want to lose him either.
We we all miss him terribly, 41 days, more than I hoped for less than I wanted. Goodbye Sweetness.
