The snow is hard enough to run on and , apparently, also perfect for doggie snowcones. Everybody is eating snow.

afternoon hazards

I made the mistake of taking everybody out on a snowshoe walk in the afternoon. By afternoon the sun was out and the snow had started to get wetter. That's a bad thing with a Puli.


In the cold mornings the dry snow just dusts the dreads. In the afternoon it clings and makes snowballs the size of grapefruit.

As previously mentioned BB and Sadie are non-stop.



Sadie's favorite game is keep away.

Which normally devolves into a boxing match.
